Privacy Policy.

This site is the official online home of Cassandre Beaugrand. It is a static, content-only website — no accounts, no sign-ups, no e-commerce, no comments, no newsletter. The only information we process about visitors is what is necessary to deliver the site and to understand — in aggregate — how it is being used.

Two privacy-friendly tools record anonymous information when you visit:

• Vercel Web Analytics

  Each page view, the referring page, an approximate location (country, region, city) derived from your IP address, and basic information about your browser, operating system and device. To distinguish visits without using cookies, Vercel generates a hash from your IP address and User-Agent. The hash is salted with a value that rotates every 24 hours, so it cannot be used to identify or follow you across days.

• Vercel Speed Insights

  Anonymous performance metrics such as page load times and Core Web Vitals, so we can detect and fix slow pages.

Both tools are cookieless and store no personal data on your device.

• ———No cookies, localStorage or similar tracking technologies.
• ———No advertising, retargeting or marketing tags.
• ———No cross-site profiling — no data sold or shared with brokers.
• ———No names, email addresses or contact details — there is no form on this site.
• ———No data of children is knowingly processed.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) in operating, securing and improving the site. The processing is limited to anonymized analytics and basic performance monitoring, which we consider proportionate and unlikely to override your rights and freedoms.

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., which also provides the analytics described above. To deliver the site, your IP address and request metadata are necessarily processed by Vercel, and may be transferred outside the European Economic Area under standard contractual safeguards.

Aggregated analytics are retained by Vercel for a limited period in accordance with its own policies. Server access logs are kept briefly for security and operational reasons.

Under the GDPR and equivalent laws, you have the right to:

• ———object to or restrict its processing,
• ———lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — for residents of France, the CNIL (cnil.fr).

Because the analytics described above are anonymized and not linked to any identifier we hold, we may not be able to single out your individual data. You can also disable analytics for this site at any time by using a tracker-blocking browser extension.

We may update this policy if we change tools, add a feature that processes new data, or to reflect changes in the law. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
